About Him
I am happy with my own company, and am looking for someone who will want to be with me, without needing to be with me.
I have travelled extensively, and lived out of a suit case most of my life. Now is the time to slow down a bit and enjoy life more.
Before Covid I would spend 6 months of each year in the USA travelling in my motor home, and 6 months in South Africa. I am now selling off my US assets, and will spend more time in South Africa.
I have attended 4 Buddhist meditation courses, and hope to attend more.
I have a tent, and go camping sometimes. Putting up a tent with one leg is usually challenging, and often amusing.
Hobbies include electric bicycles, guns, computers, solar power, tanks, DNS, IPv6, and robotics.
I am not a very good socializer, and definitely not a party animal. I prefer a good book, a cuddle, and some quiet music.
I shy away from big, close families, and am selective about who gets my attention. I have no children, and never wanted any.
There is no place in my life for incompetence or fools.
Books I like...Black Swan, Neuromancer, Market Forces.
I used to walk/run about 40 Km/week, but recently lost my left leg above the knee. I am learning to walk long distances again. Before Covid, I would do (very slow) 5 km Parkruns most weekends.
I was recently diagnose as a Type 1 diabetic. Which limits my diet.
This profile is not designed to attract many women. I only want to attract "THE" woman.
