About Him
To my partner and friends I am very loyal and straight. I have muliple interests in science,technology, current affairs,local and international as well as contemporary european history.My work as an engineer has taken me to various Southern African countries as well as to Europe and the Middle East.I became interested in oriental carpets during my stop overs in Theran from the Gulf back to Europe, and I am also intrested in some of the better known South African painters.
My private library contains books in English, German and French covering a multitude of subjects.
I like good conversation in mixed company with a good glass of red.
Occasionally I like to spend time in the bushveld to charge my batteries using my colt 4x4 and sometimes camp in the open but there will always be a comfortable lodge for a partner not inclined to rough it.
At the right time and place I can be quite romantic and I am usually easy going and very tolerant.

For the ladies who may be pondering if in future my Escom account can be paid let it be known that one of my hobbies is finance and I have been active on the JSE for a long time and also have some investments in real estate.
