About Him
Hi - I'm 40, decent looking, a few extra pounds, dark Latin man of Portuguese descent. I'm a sensitive type who spends far too much time alone. However, when I'm with friends then I am lively, entertaining, engaging and very connected to the other person. I'm very good at having deep one-on-one conversations with people about their lives, but I do not like it when the other person takes advantage of the fact that I am a good listener and simply talks about themselves. I'm overweight at the moment but I'm very keen to get back into shape with weightlifting. So, if the fact that I'm out of shape is a concern for you, please know that it is also a concern for me too and that I am working on it.

I like masculine looking men, butch or rugby types. I especially like macho types when they are hairy. But this is not that important as what counts between two people is how they get along. But still, I would probably like a guy who is considered neither overly masculine nor overly feminine, just a regular guy. I would prefer it if he were physically attractive in some way, either because he has a nice face or body without having to be an Adonis. He must be sensitve towards others, not just himself. He must not be a racist or bigot of any sort as I cannot tolerate prejudice. I generally prefer unconventional and artistic people that fall into the writer/artist/musician category. But this is not as important as a guy who is open minded, liberal, progressive in his views and has some appreciation for the arts, whether it be music, painting, literature, etc. I also like nature, but I have never had the opportunity to spend a lot of time in the great outdoors, so one of my dreams is to find someone who would share this dream of mine and help it come true.
